The Hunter Pacific Aqua IP66 fan is a first of its kind! the IP66 rating states that this fan should have not ingress of dust and water jets from any direction will not have a harmful effects. This Makes the Aqua fan idea for any location that is prone to higher than normal dust or dirt that could damage a fan motor over time, or in areas where rain and excessive moisture are an issue. In fact it is so water tight that you could even hose down the fan, even while it's running! Please note that we'd never recommend that as it could cause damage to the surrounding areas such as the roof, please take care when cleaning your fan and use common sense.Instead please see the video below:

High airflow on fastest speed and non-rusting materials, great for outdoor areas!

With the full ABS construction on the motor and blades and the IP66 dust and water rating you can be sure that the Aqua fan will last where normal timber or metal (even stainless steel!)fans have failed. The ABS blades are more durable, easier to clean, and with the added curve provide more superior airflow, up to over 14,000m³/hr (52" model) and almost 25,000 m³/hr (70"model). The 52" model should be able to comfortably cover an area of about 4m X 5m more or less, while the 70" model will better cover larger areas of around 7m X 7m, however as it has much higher airflow to other similar sized fans, it will circulate the airflow better.

With the 6 speed of the Hunter Pacific Aqua ceiling fan,you can control the fan exactly how you like it. The lowest setting is much slower than traditional fans which gives you a very gentle airflow. Plus, if you find that it's still too much, because you can now easily change the direction of the fan from the remote or optional wall controller, you can have the fan set to reverse (winter mode) for those not so warm days where you want to move the air around without feeling a draft. Simply press the reverse button and set the desired speed.

The LED in the Aqua with light models is the newest inLED technology. It's not only super bright, but also very efficient using only18W. If you ever find that it's a bit too bright, then simply dim the lights down to one of the 6 dimmable settings. But wait, there's more! The LED light of the Aqua is also CCT Tri-Colour meaning you can change from warm, natural or cool white light, so you can set the perfect light tone, and change it to your heart's content by simply switching the light off then on fast.

Optional Wall Control

The optional DC Wall Control upgrade brings the best of both worlds. Now you can have a wall control AND a remote control without having to modify your fan and perform an illegal installation (believe it or not it happens!) and voiding your warranty. The Hunter Pacific DC Wall Controller can be installed on the wall with 240V power and uses RF to control the fan. This means that you don't need a direct line of power from the fan on batteries, and you can still use the included remote control. The DC Wall Controller has the same functions as the included remote control, but with light up touch panel buttons, such as the 6 fan speeds, the light on/off and dimming, the fan reversing and timer, plus it has a thermometer built in,so you always know how hot (or cold) it gets! To maintain the IP66 integrity of the fan you must use all the included components and brackets as they are designed to keep the water out. You can still use the raked ceiling kit however it will not be fully IP66 rated anymore. Please refer to the installation instructions to make sure the fan is fully IP66.
