The Eglo Rippa LED downlight kit comes complete with the LED downlight bulb, transformer/driver, housing and downlight plug designed to fit into standard Australian power point or ceiling surface sockets. While running on only 9W, the Rippa downlight produces up to 1000 lumens of light with a wide 100 degree beam angle meaning you get the best in light coverage for any room. The Rippa LED downlight is dimmable with modern LED dimmer switch so that you can always regulate the brightness down to your desire. The Rippa downlight comes with a CCT tri colour switch on the back that allows you to change the colour tone of the light from warm white (3000K – 900lm) to natural white (4000K – 1000lm) and cool white (5000K – 950lm). The downlight 90mm fitting cut out size means that the Rippa can fit into most standard LED downlight ceiling holes including downlight 92mm openings, however it may not fit perfectly into the holes of downlight 70mm cut outs. The Rippa downlight is also IP44 rated meaning that it can be used outdoors under eaves (as long as it’s protected enough from direct rain) making it the perfect downlight for outdoor entertaining areas. The downlight kit frame and trim is made from a solid high density plastic meaning it will not rust like other downlights do. The Rippa downlight is IC-4 rated for insulation meaning that it can be covered and abducted in most cases without causing risk.
