*It is important to note that there are factors that may affect the airflow of any exhaust/extraction fan. A couple of important ones are that there needs to be enough room for the extracted air to escape in the ceiling/wall cavity (see min. installation depth) and that there is no insulation or other obstructions blocking the outlet. Another important factor, especially with stronger units, is that there needs to be an opening in the room for air to come in as it’s being extracted (such as an open window). If the room is completely sealed or the opening is not big enough, as the air is being extracted from the room, there is no “new” air to replace it.
